Street Parking Etiquette
Take any open spots in front of your own house. If all spots closest to your own house are taken, then, and only then, park in front of your neighbor's house. These are the rules, no?
Not problems, per se. We never have to park too far from the house (and we usually get the prime spots right in front). We just get annoyed by one of our neighbors continually taking the prime spots directly in front of our house when spots are available closer to his own house. (We think it may have something to do with the higher likelihood of birds crapping on cars in front of his house.)
Have you been having problems?
