I am finally in the New Year of getting my pictures in order.  Of course, I have to struggle b/c Adobe Flash Player is the most frustrating application ever!!!!  And to top it off our internet/phone service keeps cutting out.  How irritating ....ugh :(

15 years ago...

Dave asked me to be his girlfriend and I said YES! The rest is history in the making!!!

For our readers who are amazed by Dave's memory, love his writing, and appreciate his love of the Steelers - thought you might appreciate this...he sent me this today celebrating our anniversary...HE IS SO AWESOME!!! I AM ONE BLESSED LADY!!! Thanks to God for my BEST FRIEND!!! :)

13 intra-city mass transit systems rode together -> Cincinnati, Paris, Nantes, Amsterdam, Brussels (I think), Rome, Venice (water bus), Munich, Barcelona, Northern KY, NYC, Toronto, Las Vegas (does that miserable bus count?)

12 states visited together (only counting where we spent the night) -> OH, KY, TN, NC (on the way to Myrtle Beach with your fam), SC, IN, AZ, MI, PA, NJ, NY, NV

11 Christmas mornings together -> 2002-2012 (I think this is right)

10 Bengal wins over the Steelers -> '98 x2, '99, '01, '03, '05, '06, '09 x2, '12 (this may seem like a lot, but they played 31 times over this time period)

9 years of marriage (yes, I realize we haven't hit the 9-year mark yet, but we're in our 9th year of marriage)

Edwin and his tunes

Edwin requested three songs (and only three) to be uploaded onto his DS:

1. "Party Rock Anthem" (which he calls "Every Day I'm Shuffling")
2. "Gangnam Style"
3. "Call Me Maybe"

This is after he discovered one music video pre-loaded onto it that's he's been listening to on and off for a day now. I haven't heard the song yet because he always listens to it with headphones on, but whatever it i,s he loves it.

But we felt bad about him having only the one song, so we Googled how to get iTunes music onto a DS, and it's pretty easy. I tried to get a longer playlist on there for him, but he insisted on only adding those three songs.

Playing those uploaded songs is not as easy for him because you have to navigate a bunch of different menus, many of which require literacy, so he ends up going back to that one song he knows how to find.

He walks around in circles, listening to the song over and over, sometimes bobbing his head back and forth, sometimes doing some shuffling move with his feet. It's adorable and we'll try to get it on video at some point.

Watching him brings back memories of sitting in my room, listening to music on that mini record player over and over. I seem to remember doing this in Pittsburgh, so I would've been around Edwin's age. Mom, can you confirm this is an accurate memory?
