MY BIRTHDAY. I was so lucky to have Mary Lou, Dad, and Deb to all celebrate my birthday dinner. I got to sit at the head of the table, too. The best part.... the waitress called me "miss". Yes! No "ma'am" on my birthday. Woo hoo!
SOCCER --the girls have finally played a couple of games. They are still quite timid when the ball gets near them, but the enjoyment is still there. You never know what sort of entertainment you will get when you watch Meredith's age group play. HAHA. One poor kid has his face planted in the grass more often than standing on his feet.
MATT'S BIRTHDAY. He requested cake mix cookies with homemade vanilla buttercream icing. So that is what he got! :) We had a great dinner at Stonebridge Tavern!! (even though we tried somewhere else, I think we made out on the decision).

Edwin drew a family portrait today - yep, I'm the fat one...Dave is the tall, skinny one...and notice he even drew his little brother!!! SO CUTE!!! This is going in a frame for sure!

Downtown Lunch

I took the kids downtown to visit Dave for lunch today. Edwin insisted on wearing a tie and told me that Lyla had to wear a dress...LOL

I forgot my camera to snap pictures while we were downtown, but managed to get a couple before Edwin changed into play clothes...he is really growing up to be a cute little man!!!

Easter Egg Party

Today we were invited to an Easter Egg Party with Cassie, Amelia and Oliver. The kids were excited to get started and after a few eggs (4) Edwin was done and Lyla had more fun turning her hand colors...LOL...exactly why I'm thankful that I have a friend willing to host this mess! hahaha...THANKS Cassie!!!!

TINY HIP HOP

So, for the last few months, Edwin has been asking me to let him go to break-dancing class. I've searched high and low for a class, but everything seems to be geared toward older kids...until earlier this week. My aunt Chrissy called and said that the place where her daughter does competitive cheer/dance started a tiny hip hop class for kids 3-5...PERFECT!!!!!

So, Wednesday was his first class and I haven't seen him this excited since his superhero birthday party...there wasn't a great spot for me to view what he did...but I did sneak a couple pics...and the post pic really says it all. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face and he can't wait for next week...hope to get better pics and even a video as time goes on!
