The start of the school year has brought a flurry of activity at our house. Even though Meredith only goes to school half a day, we are still able to assign Matt some "home" work to do. By we , I mean ME. HAHA. It is so nice to get something accomplished for a change. Matt has removed the wallpaper, painted, bought and installed new towel racks in BOTH upstairs bathrooms. We had leftover blue paint from our bathroom and decided to use the remainder in the small bathroom. What a difference it is to not see pink, hideous floral. WOW.
I went spray paint happy on the fixtures. How fun!
Matt's next project is getting rid of our bedroom paint. You know, the lovely wall of PINK! We bought the paint during Sherwin Williams big sale. Planning ahead...are you proud? The wall is going from pink to purple. I know, another pastel. I like purple though! Three of the walls are going to be gray, and the fourth is the deep purplish gray. I can't wait to get started on this project (meaning Matt to get started).
The girls have been loving school. Still not a lot of homework yet, which disappoints Matt. I told him to come up with his own homework flashcards. It could bring back his childhood Alex Trebek days.
I decided to once again try to take the girls pictures instead of going to JCP (because I simply don't have the time). Here are a few of my favorites, but feel free to click here to see my whole September album.
Funny of the week: while at church on Saturday, Meredith was talking loudly and moving around a lot. I told her that Jesus was watching her as I pointed to the crucifix above the altar. She looked at me and said, " well, he isn't the real Jesus". Ok then.
