WEEK IN REVIEW

We are back from our week off from work. It was a great vacation at Ocean City, N.J. No , we didn't run into Snooki while we were there; however, there was merchandise everywhere for the show. WOW! Our hotel was centrally located on the boardwalk which was on the beach. Sooo, we had very little traveling to the ocean each day. It was awesome! The pool was right on the boardwalk so we could spy on the walkers as we laid out. Oh wait, it was probably more like them spying on us. HA! We only visited the pool 2 times b/c we had great ocean days this week. The girls were a bit intimidated at first by the waves, but after one full day there, they were pros. Meredith was especially thrilled to jump over the waves. As we were jumping one of the days, we got our own personal show of dolphins jumping and splashing ahead of us. (a lot of ahead of us, as I would be running if they had come close)
We visited the arcades and did some goofy golf. The girls really didn't get the technique, but did enjoy the black light areas! Madeline's favorite part of the trip was getting to sleep in her own double bed. Meredith's favorite part was eating small boxes of cereal in the morning ?!? Really ? We could have done this trip down the road instead of 8 hours away! The little things that please them :)

Meredith was a bit trying at times. Quite dramatic. She definitely did NOT care for us helping her lick her ice cream cone. You will notice many of her pouty faces in my photos. Here is a good example.

Meredith also did not like the Mr . Peanut or the Fry Guy on the boardwalk. She would have the deathgrip on our hands and pull us as far away from them as possible. This is as close as I could get to get a photo. She must be more like me than I thought.

Took this photo when trying to decide what to order. Hmmmm... I decided not to get anything here that would serve such vulgar food. HAHAHA
We spent most of our days relaxing on the beach. The rest of the awake hours was stuffing our faces full of food. It was so good. Imagine all type of seafood, and we probably ate it. Madeline tried everything that I would allow. Meredith was content with her hot dogs and mac and cheese. So adventurous.
